Its amazing how you plan on doing something over the period of a few centuries, one day you conclude you"ll never do it....then another day you come to a different conclusion. Yes off course you"ll do it, who are you kidding. Well this has been the story of my life with this blog...and thank the heavens its finally going down, ...story for another day. 

          Ok, A Desert Narrative....but why you ask. Well I thought you"ld never ask. Three years ago I packed up my life in 2 overweight suitcases and moved from familiar territory, Nairobi, a city referenced to as "the land of cool waters", to a desert, Dubai to be precise. A perfect contradiction...not my move here but Dubai in itself. Vast desert lands verses water canals, mountainous sand dunes verses chilled beaches and random water bodies, rooted traditions verses some of the highest levels of modernization ....All perfectly blended into one mass of what I now call my relatively new home. Do I love living in Dubai? … Offcourse I do. and while this blog isn't necessarily about this "city of gold",  plan is to take you along with this perfect contradiction on highlight as a vessel to project my passions, and clue you, my loyal readers as to what inspires me in this crazy world.
